Artist's Comments

This is for GuyFlash. It is an art trade between us using each other's characters and putting them in a walk cycle. I guess this one is technically not a walk cycle because it does get to an end point but there is a replay button to watch it again. I reused some background images from an older flash of mine and the music was made by me on October 22nd. I just made the tune real quick because I was bored and then decided I might as well use it for something. Enjoy GuyFlash. :) (took me about 7 hrs. lol)

but if you want actual critics: the shadow of the tree doesnt move, it kinda pulls your attention because it doesnt.
The rest is awesome, though ^^

It's cool, but I think the grass moves much quicker than anything else. I know it's supposed to be like that, but it's just a wee to fast.

Yeah, the tree and its shadow were actually made for another flash project when I was first starting to use flash so I didn't put very much effort into things back then. I noticed that the shadow should be moving and I considered making a new one to move the shadow but didn't want to spend the extra time...which actually wouldn't have been very hard now that I think of it. lol

You're right. I was so tired when I put the grass in there that I forgot to make sure it was moving at the right speed. lol

the fact that the backgound is static draws your eyes toward the moving character. I like it. grass is fast and all that stuff but overall its good. Keep using flash, hopefully you can get really good at it. I hope to use Maya eventhough i dont know how much time I'll have.
